Archive & Resource room
The Archive & Resource Room at Belfast Exposed is a dedicated shared space for research and reflection. Located on the first floor, it combines a MAC computer hosting 3000 digital images from our archive alongside a wide range of publications that trace the history of our organisation. It contains books that have informed our research and projects, self-published titles, exhibition catalogues, and an extensive collection of photobooks and photography journals. It also features a collection of special interest books relating to previous exhibitions as recommended by the artist and curator.
The Archive & Resource Room provides a quiet and comfortable environment in which to browse our digital archive and collection of books. It is designed as a shared resource open to all, from artists and community photographers to volunteers, workshop participants, researchers and academics and any visitors wishing to view our archive or book collection. The space is suitable for both individuals and small groups.
Access to the facility is free of charge however we advise booking in advance to ensure availability. Booking can be arranged by contacting
