Gallery Education Programme for Schools and Colleges 2017/18
Belfast Exposed offers bespoke tours and workshops for schools and colleges from Primary through to Degree Level. Contact our Gallery Manager Hannah Watson for more information or to make a booking.
We offer an interactive and inspiring programme where students at all levels can find out about photography and use the medium as a way of learning new skills, making decisions, telling stories and questioning the world around them while fulfilling key areas of the curriculum.
1. Exhibition Tours
Cost – Free
Dates – Tuesday to Friday 10am to 5pm
Age – All Ages, Primary to Degree/Masters Level
We provide 1-hour sessions that include in-depth guided tours of our exhibitions, a tour of our facilities and a talk about the history of Belfast Exposed. Tours can be arranged between Tuesday and Friday, 10am to 5pm daily.
2. Belfast Exposed Young Futures
Cost - Free
Dates – First Tuesday of each month from October 2017 and April 2018, 5pm to 6.30pm.
Age – 15 to 18 (GCSE to A-Level)
Application Deadline - Friday 15th September, 5pm
Belfast Exposed Young Futures will bring together a group of 15 to 18 year olds, from school and colleges in Northern Ireland interested in learning more about photography and the art world. Workshops will include an exciting programme of talks, workshops and gallery visits with curators, artists and arts professionals. This is a fantastic opportunity for young people to gain valuable experience and to take the first steps in their artistic career. Students should email to request an application form – please note that spaces are limited and applications must be returned by 5pm on Friday 15th September.
3. Bespoke Practical Workshops in Photography
