Call for Volunteers

Volunteers fulfill an essential role in the day to day running of Belfast Exposed; meeting and greeting visitors, providing information on exhibitions and events, manning the sale of our publications, assisting with exhibition installation, workshops and at events.

As a volunteer you will be offered a range of benefits, have free access to our reading room, as well as the dark room and digital editing suite. There is also a discount available for purchases made in the bookshop, and towards the cost of our photography courses.

We are passionate about volunteer development and in the last 12 months have offered volunteers the opportunity to take part in a pilot curating scheme which culminated in the exhibition 'Resolutions'. Volunteers have also lead discussions, organised a session of the 'Photo Book Club' and taken part in various in-house training sessions.

We are looking for people who are interested in photography and the work that we do at Belfast Exposed and who are reliable, enthusiastic and committed to learning more about working in an arts organisation.

Whilst this is a voluntary role, we will contribute to your travel expenses in getting to and from the gallery.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us at . You can download an application form from our Volunteers page.
