Autumn Ramble Workshop

Saturday 24 November from 11am – 4pm

Tutor: Chris Barr

Belfast’s urban heritage, archaeology, architecture, geography and streetscapes resonate with the city’s complex histories, memories and stories. This session invites you to join a photography ramble, exploring Belfast’s urban landscapes, historical buildings and sites, while taking photographs, which evoke the city’s character and history.

You will be invited to undertake a small piece of initial research and, on the day will explore the ways history, place, time of day, quality of light and weather conditions influence or evoke moods and atmosphere. Spend some time asking, talking and thinking about photography and place, as well as shooting new pictures - colour or black and white - which will enhance your collection or portfolio.

Belfast Exposed workshop and on location in the city. Wrap up well, bring your camera (any type of camera) and a packed lunch.
