Children of the Revolution: poster workshop
This day-long workshop harks back to the anarchic 60s, before the days of facebook campaigns and twitter revolutions, to look at low-tech ways of conveying powerful graphic messages in print.
Using your own photographs or illustrations, and also drawing from the archives at Belfast Exposed, Keith Connolly (Tonic Design) will introduce his own methodologies and influences - from Bauhaus to acid house - to help you make your own posters for a contemporary revolution.
Keith will be on hand for one-to-one tutoring in graphic design and typography, for people of all ranges of ability. Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops or source materials.

Second Look
Young people are often portrayed as disrespectful and assumed to be involved in anti-social behaviour. These assumptions are often media driven and based on nothing more than appearance.
The young people who produced this work are asking the public to stop and take a second look before making assumptions.
SECOND LOOK
is an exhibition that emphasizes to the Lisburn community: not all young people are troublemakers, so don't assume that young people are just a "Hoodie" or "underage drinker". There is more to young people than first appearance.
Thanks
Young people from Lisburn worked with Belfast Exposed Photography on project exploring representations of identity, funded by Children In Need.
