Community Partner: R.N.I.B - facilitated by Mervyn Smyth - 20 August to 24 August 2012
This Project was undertaken by a group of people with visual impairment. It enabled the group to use digital photography to highlight a typical day in their lives. It was delivered in partnership with R.N.I.B and was facilitated by Belfast Exposed community artist Mervyn Smyth.
The group decided that they wanted to use their digital photography skills to highlight the obstacles guide dog users experience everyday in Belfast City Centre. During the project they therefore documented the city centre from a guide dog’s point of view.
The group created a final slideshow from the images they had taken entitled ‘A day in the life of a guide dog’.
