Community Partner: Crosslinks - Facilitated by Mervyn Smyth - 4 February to 11 March 2013
This 6-week project used digital photography to enable a group of young people to explore inter-cultural identity. The project was delivered in partnership with Crosslinks and was facilitated by Belfast Exposed Community Photography Coordinator Mervyn Smyth.
Over the 6 weeks participants developed their digital photography skills while exploring the changing cultural identity of Belfast. The group also explored the elements needed to curate a successful exhibition. The group then created an exhibition of the images they had taken depicting the changing cultural identity of Belfast. The exhibition was held in Belfast City Hall in April 2013.
